HartSCI to support industry collaboration across air, space, and defense
HartSCI today announced its sponsorship of the Arizona Aerospace Summit 2026, a premier industry event focused on the convergence of aviation, defense, and space.
As aerospace systems become more interconnected, the lines between air, space, and defense are rapidly dissolving. What were once distinct industries are now operating as a more unified ecosystem driven by shared technologies, integrated supply chains, and evolving mission demands.
HartSCI is participating in the Summit to engage directly in these conversations and contribute to the next phase of aerospace innovation.
The Arizona Aerospace Summit brings together leaders from across industry, government, and academia to explore how organizations can better align around real opportunities—from supply chain partnerships and advanced manufacturing to testing, workforce development, and mission collaboration.
“HartSCI develops advanced adaptive optics and optical sensing technologies that transform distorted or incomplete information into clear, actionable insight,” said Dr. Michael Hart, President and Founder of HartSCI. “By enhancing the quality and fidelity of optical data, our solutions enable faster understanding, more informed decision-making, and more effective use of resources across a wide range of applications. At HartSCI, we believe that better decisions begin with greater visibility.”
Held in Tucson, Arizona, on July 15, 2026, the Summit highlights the state’s growing role as a global aerospace hub. With strengths in advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, biosciences, and real-world testing environments, Arizona is increasingly serving as a base for companies looking to build, test, and scale aerospace systems with national and global impact.
The event is structured across three integrated tracks—Flightline (advanced air mobility and aviation), Frontline (defense, manufacturing, and industrial base), and Orbitline (space and space-enabled systems)—reflecting the broader shift toward integrated aerospace systems.
“The Arizona Aerospace Summit is about creating a clear path for companies to engage in real programs, partnerships, and supply chains across air, space, and defense,” said Steven G. Zylstra, President and CEO of the Arizona Technology Council. “Arizona is uniquely positioned to support this level of integration, and this event is designed to help accelerate it.”
